How do our prices work?

FuelForLess combines official sources with user reports for the most current fuel prices.

Official base data

We import 6,000+ fuel stations from OpenStreetMap and link official prices: CBS average (NL), FOD Economy maximum price (BE), and fixed government prices (LU).

Users report actual prices

Official prices are averages or maximums — actual pump prices are often lower. After refueling, report the price you saw at the pump. This makes the app more accurate over time.

Everyone benefits

More reports mean more accurate prices. Together we save more than alone.

Germany, France and 10+ other countries have real-time station prices via official government APIs (Tankerkoenig, Prix Carburants, E-Control, etc.).
